Week # 1 inspiration is sherbert ice cream.  She's been sitting in my sketchbook for more than a year and I couldn't come up with what I wanted to do with her until this Blog Event came along.  She came to mind immediately.  I had intended to put some color on the cardboard bkg, but decided it would detract from the inspiration colors.

Just noticed that her blond top didn't show up as bright as IRL, forgot to press down on the page when it scanned, I really have to get a larger scanner, it doesn't do well when my whole sketch book is on it and I have to double scan most things and stitch them together.

SHE is gorgeous! I LOVE how you've incorporated all the colors into her hair - she's beautiful! Thank you for joining in and for helping to spread the word - and no worries, please link again tomorrow when the widget is up and you'll be included in the drawing for the Sherbet prize (pictured tomorrow ;) Kristin xo

I just love her gorgeous face, and the use of the colors. And the contrast with the texture of the cardboard is perfect...
